He graduated from Galatasaray High School and Pertevniyal High School. After graduating from Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, he completed his orthopedics and traumatology specialty at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. In 1986, he became an associate professor and in 1994, he became a professor.
He has many scientific articles in the field of prosthetic surgery. In 2014, he resigned from his faculty at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine and works as an independent physician. He has many papers in many international and national congresses and articles in various scientific journals.
